Our Team
Münire Bozdemir, MFA
Münire is the founder of MyMoon. She writes and illustrates stories. Some of her specific interests are interactivity design and empathy. She earned her MFA in Writing from Columbia University in the City of New York. She taught university level classes at institutions in Turkey, China and USA. Currently she is employed at Juniata College, PA, and Digital Storytelling, Intercultural Communication and ESL Grammar through Storytelling are among the classes she teaches.
Daniel Xiao, PhD
Daniel has designed the curriculum for our story series Masters of Math. He is also a professor at Dalian Medical University, teaching Advanced Mathematics, and Artificial Intelligence classes among others. He has been engaged in K-12 mathematics education and higher math education for more than 10 years. Together with Angela SONG, he founded Dalian DNA Education Technology Co., Ltd., providing math courses and math teacher training for many educational institutions.
Angela Song, MA
Angela is a language educator and an entrepreneur. She develops curriculums and materials for Chinese and English language teaching. She runs teacher training and academic writing workshops for university professors who speak English as a second language. She creates and coordinates projects for Dalian DNA Education Technology Co., Ltd, which she co-founded with Daniel Xiao.
Onursal Engel
Onursal received his Master’s degree in Architectural Design from Istanbul Technical University, third oldest technical university in the world and one of the best colleges in Turkiye. His interests include but not limited to research based architectural design, 3D modeling and 2D and 3D animation. He designs pages, forests and cities for MyMoon stories. He is also the creator of the animated pages.
Sahil Agiwal
Sahil is a proficient software engineer with expertise in various programming languages, agile methodologies, and continuous integration/delivery practices. He excels in fast-paced environments with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Sahil is also a passionate web developer, delivering innovative solutions and showcasing his skills at My Moon Stories. He continuously strives to learn and stay current with industry best practices.

Inspire children (and adults) to understand, question and reimagine the world we are living in through interactive stories of math and science that they can relate to.
Vision
Research shows that availability of internet doesn’t ensure access to good quality stories for children. Two major reasons behind this fact are:
- Price of apps and stories intended for children.
- Lack of apps and stories in languages other than English.
We collaborate with experts in different fields to use the power of stories to build thoughtful, effective, and affordable learning experiences for young children in as many languages as possible.
